About The Position

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned Business Intel Architect with business intelligence applications experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Provides technical leadership on establishing standards and best practices to install, configure, and use business intelligence applications for the decision support environment. Oversees complex data modeling and advanced project metadata development. Ensures that business rules are applied consistently across the different user interfaces. Develops design specifications and standards for semantic layers and multi-dimensional models for complex Business Intelligence projects across all environments. Consults on training and usage for the business community. Provides support to business users and Business Intelligence developers. Sets and enforces Business Intelligence standards and architecture. Aligns Business Intelligence architecture with enterprise architecture. Selects appropriate Business Intelligence tools, features, and tech.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.
  • At least 9 years experience with BI applications; decision support systems, query and reporting, online analytical processing, statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining.
  • At least 3 years experience with business intelligence design and architecture.
  • 1 - 2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience with Clarity, Tableau, Oracle, SQL, Modern Architecture.
  • Knowledge of data strategy, data modeling, data integration, and data governance.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence reporting for Product Management Models and Financial Management.
  • Understanding of DevOps, Splunk, and Kafka.
  • Experience working with Financial Data.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience in computer operations and IT systems management.
  • Extensive experience in information security management and application development tools.
  • Subject matter expert in technical/financial knowledge, application design and architecture, application delivery process, and information management.
