We’re seeking a Financial Data Analyst for a Hybrid role in Dallas, TX – who has a strong background in SQL and database management/administration. This role will support financial planning, and operational decision-making by managing large datasets, improving data-driven insights, developing reports, and enhancing reporting capabilities across multi-entity structures. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of financial systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance and Accounting teams.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for financial and operational reporting.
  • Manage and administer financial databases to ensure accuracy, performance, and data integrity.
  • Support multi-entity financial consolidations, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources (ERP, planning systems, and internal databases).
  • Build dashboards, models, and visual reports to support decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data with enterprise planning and ERP systems.
  • Improve and streamline data flows between systems for more efficient reporting processes.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives and identify actionable insights.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in financial data analysis, database administration, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong experience with relational database management (MySQL, SQL Server, MS Fabric, or similar).
  • Experience in database administration, including schema design, indexing, performance optimization, and data governance.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exposure to enterprise planning and finance systems such as Adaptive Planning, OneStream, or NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes (forecasting, reporting, consolidations).
  • Experience with ETL tools, scripting (Python, R), or API integrations.
  • Experience with multi-entity/multi-subsidiary reporting and consolidations.
  • Communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
