Agile Defense is an award-winning and growing company with an immediate need for a skilled and energetic Financial Data Analyst to support US Marshals Service with financial analysis and reporting.
Conduct forensic data analysis to uncover and analyze data trends, patterns, and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, recommend actions, and provide accurate and reliable responses to program and executive-level inquiries
Identify, query, analyze, and produce monthly/quarterly data metrics, as well as intra and inter-agency benchmarks and reports
Coordinate, execute, and aggregate data calls for program managers and Financial Services Division (FSD) executives
Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information
Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of Division and District performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results
Demonstrate appropriate understanding and working knowledge of accounting principles, budget execution, continuing resolutions, and other internal controls
Create monthly and quarterly dashboards, providing a high-level financial overview of the organization to FSD leadership
Automate business and IT processes for both answering data calls
Bachelorâs degree required and 3+ years of financial experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and strong experience with data query/database management, financial and accounting (especially federal accounting) knowledge is required; strong experience with SQL, Business Objects, Power BI extremely helpful.

US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOJ MBI clearance
2+ year(s) of Federal financial experience
Experience with CGI Momentum or UFMS
Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft PBI or Tableau
Bachelorâs Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/ or Business Information Systems
