About The Position

The Financial & Data Analyst is a detail-oriented analyst who is the backbone of deal financial modeling. This role focuses first on conducting margin and profitability analysis for deals, thus enabling smart commercial decision-making. In addition, the analyst supports data analysis efforts and helps improve reporting and insight generation using modern data analysis techniques and AI-enabled analytics where appropriate. This role combines strong financial modeling skills with curiosity about emerging tools, automation, and data-driven approaches to analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, with experience in deal modeling or commercial analysis preferred
• Strong financial modeling experience, particularly related to margin, profitability, or scenario analysis
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• Familiarity with modern data analysis techniques and an interest in applying AI-enabled analytics or automation in business contexts
• Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including building structured, scalable financial models
• Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and create actionable insights
• Familiarity with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to support both financial decision-making and data-driven improvements
• Ability to work effectively in evolving environments with imperfect or fragmented data

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to or interest in tools and techniques such as SQL, Python, large language models (LLMs), or AI agent-based workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deal Financial Modeling: Conduct detailed margin, profitability, and scenario analysis on deals to support decision-making and deal structuring.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and reports that support commercial operations and leadership decision-making.
• Data Synthesis: Work across multiple data sources and systems, helping ensure clean, consistent inputs for analysis and identifying opportunities to improve data quality and usability.
• Support Process & Analytics Improvements: Contribute insights from financial modeling and data analysis to help improve processes over time, including the use of automation, AI-enabled analytics, or advanced analytical techniques where appropriate.
