About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Crime Associate to join our Operations Risk Management team. This role is critical in safeguarding our organization against fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. The ideal candidate will combine skills with regulatory knowledge to identify suspicious activity and support the BSA and Fraud Departments.

Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and possess good time management skills.
• Must possess good analytical skills.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with transaction monitoring, data analysis and identification of trends and patterns.
• Conduct reviews and escalate cases that require further investigation.
• Systems testing financial crimes detection systems and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen the financial crime framework.
• Maintain accurate and well-documented records for audit and regulatory review.
• Stay current with regulatory updates, industry trends, and emerging financial crime risks.
• Assist in the development of training materials and awareness sessions for staff.
• Assists in the development of new business for Firstrust.
• Direct customers to appropriate person to establish business relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
