The Criminal Investigations Division encompasses all law enforcement and forensic components residing within the Department of Financial Services. This advertisement is for the Bureau of Public Assistance Fraud. This advertisement is for a Financial Crime Investigator I position which is a NON-SWORN position. The Financial Crimes Investigator I is an entry level position that supports this mission by conducting the following investigative activities under the direct supervision of an Investigations Manager. The Financial Crimes Investigator I is an entry level position that will be in training status to ensure the incumbent acquires specific knowledge of investigative techniques; public assistance program policy, and Departmental procedures to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position. As part of that process, the incumbent is expected to: Successfully complete all required training programs Work closely with the Investigation Manager and experienced investigators as appropriate to develop skills
