Overview Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people Basic knowledge of credit and collections procedures Desired Qualifications: Medical Terminology Knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and laws both state and federal levels Working knowledge of credit and collections procedures in a health-related field Responsibilities Performs analyses and communicates with customers to obtain required information for various types of accounts; informs and counsels customers of all payment options; coordinates and arranges settlement of accounts for balances due.
