Financial Counselor navigates patients through the financial assistance process as indicated in the Endeavor Financial Assistance Policy, to ensure cases are financially cleared and secure funding for outstanding accounts. Counselor will ensure patient understanding of revenue cycle expectations and financial liability/responsibility by providing information on Financial Assistance Policy, resources, and cost of services. The counselor will assess their ability to pay for inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services on future and existing outstanding accounts and find identify appropriate financial assistance options utilizing federal, state, and private resources to settle/resolve accounts. Counselor will work with patient to negotiate payment plans, while collaborating with Medical Group Practices, community health resources, and revenue cycle teams to ensure patient financial transparency. Counselor reflects the mission, vision, and values of Endeavor Health, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
