Verify payer information, patient eligibility and benefits for hospital services. Position Summary/Responsibilities: Create billing estimates and educate patients on their financial liability pre-service. Request and secure pre-service collection. High telephone interaction with patients, payers and clinical areas. Electronic worklist. Call center environment. Quality and Productivity expectations

Requirements

High School diploma required.
Two years experience in medical or insurance billing preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Professional customer service skills.
Must be able to sit for 90% of the day.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual candidates - Spanish, a plus
