About The Position

Overview WHO are we looking for? CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Counselor II that will meet with employees of retirement plans to holistically advise individuals as to their plan options, provide retirement planning strategies, evaluate their risk tolerance and make asset allocations recommendations based on CAPTRUST investment strategies. The Financial Advisor will manage specific clients and work directly with clients and Financial Advisors in managing advice projects. Responsibilities Provide financial planning and education to retirement plan participants in group or individual sessions Manage and maintain various annual client projects Manage specific department tasks such as reporting, ongoing communications, and presentation development Travel to client locations and manage expenses; may travel up to 80% of time out of town, including overnight Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Skills: 4-year college degree (preferred but not required) Professional License/Certification required (65,6, or 7) 6 years of related industry experience; retirement plans and investment vehicles Desired Qualifications/Skills: Demonstrated project management experience Relationship building and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail WHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST? Requirements
