The Financial Counseling Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing financial counseling services to patients and families. This position is responsible for screening patients to determine potential for program assistance and subsequent completion of applications with the patient and family. The Financial Counseling Specialist maintains knowledge of community agencies and resources to facilitate appropriate referrals and identification of payment sponsorship and assists with the establishment of payment plan and collection of approved deposits and prior balances.
