About The Position

We’re seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our growing team.Responsible for performing various financial, administrative and insurance related activities. Contacts patients regarding past due balances and facilitates payment arrangements. Verifies insurance coverage and clarifies available financial resources for patient care. How you’ll make us better: Communicate with patients regarding past due accounts using phone, email, and text messagingWork with clinic team members to ensure payments are collectedCollect and process payments on past due accountsWork with patients to make payment arrangements as necessaryPerform general office and administrative duties assisting with the patient processProcess and document clinic forms accurately to ensure HIPAA and State law compliance (i.e., patient records, financial forms, and insurance contracts)Verify patient eligibility, submit insurance claims, and manage process until claim is fundedMay reconcile cash balance and manage Account Receivables and Payables, including making bank depositsAdjust patient ledgers Your special skills: We’re proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with patients regarding past due accounts using phone, email, and text messaging
  • Work with clinic team members to ensure payments are collected
  • Collect and process payments on past due accounts
  • Work with patients to make payment arrangements as necessary
  • Perform general office and administrative duties assisting with the patient process
  • Process and document clinic forms accurately to ensure HIPAA and State law compliance (i.e., patient records, financial forms, and insurance contracts)
  • Verify patient eligibility, submit insurance claims, and manage process until claim is funded
  • May reconcile cash balance and manage Account Receivables and Payables, including making bank deposits
  • Adjust patient ledgers
