Job Summary The Financial coordinator is responsible for coordinating referrals, scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance verification and benefits, tracking, documenting and communicating the authorizations of status to internal and external providers as well as the patient/family.

Requirements

  • Minimum two ( 2) years of administrative or clerical experience in a medical office.
  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job.
  • Ability to think critically; work independently; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; pay close attention to details.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience in a medical field.
  • Experience with authorization process.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
