We provide A class studio facilities in both Los Angeles and New York as well as concierge-level services and world-class management for production lighting/grip, heavy equipment, expendables, production supplies and catering projects. This role will involve key responsibilities such as reconciling final jobs using accounting software, meticulous bookkeeping throughout every job, and comprehensive finance reporting. Requirements

5-7 years’ experience within managing and implementing accounting procedures, processes, and policies; and adapt to newly designed A/F functions when needed.
Supervised all accounting department operations.
Overseeing control of accounting within subsidiary companies.
Ensuring the integrity of all accounting functions.
Providing job training and mentoring to the accounting department.

Responsibilities

Working in tandem with studio operations and other business units.
Oversee management/property vendors.
Maintaining an up-to-date data storage system (Avid and MRI)
AR/AP are paid on time.
Ensuring payroll is on time.
Supervising bank reconciliations.
Keeping an updated chart of accounts directly reporting to the executive leadership team.
Preparing relevant and timely financial reports.
Suggesting ways to improve company performance.
