About The Position

The Financial Controller at Munters is responsible for managing all financial functions at the Lansing facility, including accounting, reporting, cash flow management, cost accounting, internal controls, and audit compliance. This role supports local management by providing financial analysis and assisting in the implementation of business improvements, ensuring that financial operations align with the company's strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in manufacturing and cost accounting is essential.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and business-minded.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Provide financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
  • Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and product costing processes.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Credit functions.
  • Lead or participate in audits and special projects as required.
  • Report financial updates to senior management and maintain relationships with the corporate office.
