About The Position

Financial Consultant Senior Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Financial Consultant Senior is responsible for providing financial analysis and preparing analysis of results for lines of business. How you will make an impact: Lead administrative expense reporting, forecasting, and annual planning workstreams across all Carelon Services cost center areas. Drive financial cost management and budgeting processes across multiple business units, ensuring timely achievement of key milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and financial reports to support leadership review of business plans, forecasts, and performance results. Build and maintain financial models and perform complex analyses to support long-term growth strategies and key strategic initiatives. Lead cross-functional projects focused on business process improvement; identify and implement innovative financial system solutions to reduce manual processes and increase operational efficiency. Works with management to provide decision support analysis. Conducts and documents complex financial and business-related analyses and research fields including financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment. Focuses on business improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects. Provides guidance and training to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

• MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal business processes, data flow, controls and financial systems preferred to include Oracle/Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft Office/Excel, Peoplesoft, and Workday.
