About The Position

Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for a Financial Coach & Outreach Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you'll support individuals and families by providing one-on-one financial coaching and delivering group education that helps community members build confidence in budgeting, credit, savings, and long-term planning. You'll strengthen relationships with community partners, coordinate outreach and educational events, and represent GCU in the communities we serve. Requirements

• 2-5 years of similar/related experience.
• A 2-year college degree or Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required , including the ability to understand and speak fluently.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is also required when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one financial coaching to individuals and families, helping them build confidence in budgeting, credit, savings, and long-term financial planning.
• Strengthen relationships with community partners by coordinating outreach activities, educational workshops, and collaborative events.
• Represent GCU at community events and partner meetings, occasionally outside regular business hours.
• Analyze member information, ask high-impact questions, and offer accurate referrals with compassion and professionalism.
• Deliver group-based financial education and support the development of financial empowerment materials and presentations.
• Collaborate with departments across the credit union to ensure members receive coordinated, effective support.
• Maintain accurate documentation, manage coaching software, and follow internal procedures to ensure smooth program delivery.
