About The Position
PeaceHealth is seeking a Financial Clearance Specialist - Remote for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $18.76 - $28.14. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Must live in the states of Oregon or Washington! The position coordinates components of financial clearance, including pre-registration, insurance verification, prior authorization/notification requirements, and patient financial information. It involves informing the patient/guarantor of all financial liabilities and documenting pertinent information into appropriate systems. The specialist communicates with patients, insurance companies, department administrators, physicians, and other departmental staff to ensure the ideal patient experience. The role implements the Corporate Financial Counseling policy to ensure fair, thorough, and consistent application of account resolution practices to promote corporate financial health.
