About The Position

The Financial Center Supervisor at Hancock Bank is responsible for ensuring efficient operations within the financial center, building client relationships, and delivering superior client service. This role involves overseeing financial transactions, managing staff, and mitigating operational risks while promoting a strong risk management culture.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of cash handling and customer service experience in retail or branch banking, or a Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the banking industry.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008.

Responsibilities

  • Perform morning operational huddles.
  • Complete staffing and scheduling coordination and duty assignments.
  • Offer guidance to associates regarding teller transactions and reinforce policy and procedure.
  • Assist with financial center morning and evening duties, including vault operations and teller balancing.
  • Mitigate operational loss by managing cash limits and ensuring proper hold placement.
  • Perform research and problem-resolution for clients.
  • Support the Bank's risk management culture and adhere to the Risk Management Review process.
  • Utilize equipment effectively, including ATMs and currency counters.
  • Model sales and service behavior for associates and promote professionalism.
  • Manage existing clients and prospects to build strong relationships and tailor product solutions.
  • Educate clients on self-service options and digital solutions.
  • Refer clients to business partners for specialized financial needs.
  • Process a variety of routine and complex transactions for clients.
  • Engage in client and prospect management activities.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations and financial needs assessments.
  • Ensure operational and financial safety and soundness.
