About The Position
The Financial Business Services Coordinator - Order Entry at Securitas Technology plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of order processing within the organization. This position is responsible for managing all activities recorded in the order entry mailbox, which includes reviewing product orders for completeness and accuracy. The coordinator will enter all types of orders—financial, commercial, enterprise, and national accounts—into the Solomon system, ensuring that all data is accurately captured and processed. In addition to order entry, the coordinator will create budgets in Microsoft Excel using data sourced from Big Machines, which will then be entered into Solomon for revenue recognition purposes. The role also involves reviewing monitoring and service maintenance orders for accuracy and submitting them to the appropriate internal groups for processing. A key responsibility is to ensure that all required documentation is received from the sales team and submitted to Contract Administration in a timely manner. The coordinator will also be tasked with accurately logging and tracking all services sold for recurring monthly revenue, which is essential for Sales Compensation purposes. Assisting the sales team with any questions related to ordering document requirements is another important aspect of this role. The coordinator will create and maintain project files on the applicable Microsoft Point site, review and process change orders, and handle cancellations as needed. Maintaining composure while dealing with executives, clients, and staff, especially under pressure, is vital. The coordinator will also handle sensitive and confidential information, assist and back up other positions as needed, and take on additional responsibilities as requested by the manager.
