Great Hill Solutions is seeking a Financial Audit Readiness Analyst to support a critical Department of Defense (DoD) agency headquartered in northern Virginia. The perfect candidate for this role is a professional with 1-3 years of experience in the federal audit remediation space, with a particular focus on property remediation. We are considering hire in both Falls Church, VA and/or San Antonio, TX. The individual should have the ability to complete both quantitative and qualitative analysis, understand, or demonstrate the ability to learn federal property accounting business processes improvement, and have experience with federal financial management The candidate should be self-driven, a fast learner and an exceptional communicator. They’ll be working alongside teammates to achieve common goals and deliver outstanding client services.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting, finance, data analysis or another relevant field)
  • 1-3 years of federal financial management or auditing experience
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to work
  • Ability to travel to support client needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Federal Audit Readiness and Remediation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with key audit areas such as Federal Audit Coordination, Financial Reporting, and OMB Circular A-123.
  • Experience with federal property accounting and audit readiness
  • Experience with data analysis (advanced Excel, Data bricks, Python, R etc.)
