About The Position

The Financial & Workforce Performance Analyst supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in strengthening the health system's financial and operational performance. This role focuses on labor management, budget analysis, and reporting refinement, while also partnering with departmental leaders to provide education and tools that enhance financial stewardship. The Analyst serves as a resource for interpreting data, identifying trends, and promoting workforce efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare finance, labor management, or workforce analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting systems, business intelligence tools, or ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, analyzes, and refines financial and labor-related reports to support executive decision-making.
  • Partners with departmental leaders to interpret budgetary and labor data, fostering understanding and accountability.
  • Provides education and training on financial and labor management practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Builds and maintain sophisticated spreadsheets, models, and dashboards that enhance financial and workforce reporting.
  • Collaborates with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to align workforce planning with budgetary requirements.
  • Monitors labor utilization and productivity metrics, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Supports annual budget development and periodic financial reviews, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Contributes to special projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the CFO and CEO.
  • Uses Excel on an advanced level, to include frequent use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and financial analysis tools.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Explains financial concepts to non-financial leaders.
  • Utilizes organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Is collaborative, professional, and eager to grow within a healthcare finance environment.
