About The Position

We are currently seeking a professional to take on the role of Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate’s primary focus of this position is to support the finance team in coordinating / administering the monthly financials, as well as supporting costing and inventory management processes at our organization’s United States manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related industry.
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in financial analysis and accounting within lean manufacturing industries.
  • Strong personal computer skills in Excel, Word, Access.
  • Good analysis skills.
  • High level of integrity; commitment to continuous improvement; understanding of modern accounting control and manufacturing theory and practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QAD (ERP), Alteryx, PowerBI, CyberQuery, and SmartSheet.

Responsibilities

  • Support with P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, month end close, and account reconciliations.
  • Perform cost rolls for new and existing products.
  • Calculate efficiency, productivity, and track absorption daily.
  • Approve requisitions and review purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Review material variances monthly and investigate root causes.
  • Provide assistance in inventory control and maintenance.
  • Prepare and analyze product cost structures, BOMs / Routers for new workflows, new products, and recasts of costing parameters for current products.
  • Participate in annual Physical Inventory.
  • Participate in annual audit.
  • Preparation of month-end closing journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Review and analyze the plant results of the manufacturing operations for assigned plant.
  • Assist in preparing monthly bridge analysis comparing actual results to prior year, rolling forecast and budget.
  • Update KPI results and report out to the operations team.
  • Assist with preparation of the month end financial presentation.
  • Review Power BI reporting daily to help anticipate changes in expenses or revenues and communicate to NA Finance Manager.
  • Assist with maintaining and creating new Alteryx (database engine) workflows that feed Power BI reporting.
