About The Position

Visa USA Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Financial Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to manage incentive contracts for North America. The role involves analyzing newly executed incentive contract terms to assess contractual obligations and determine appropriate accounting treatment based on company policy and procedure. The analyst will review proforma to ensure accuracy of contract interpretation and application of company accounting policies, setup incentive contracts in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system per contract terms, and ensure consistency in accommodation system limitations. Additionally, the analyst will manage, track, and process contractual payments per terms of contracts accurately and timely for all regions, performing peer reviews and approvals on payments and new contract setups. The position requires liaising with Sales, Legal, and clients to determine fulfillment of contractual obligations, reviewing ongoing contract performance, and updating future performance/amortization schedules. The analyst will also be responsible for inquiries and issue resolutions related to assigned contracts, coordinating with the Client Incentive Operations team, and supporting ad-hoc analysis and projects. The position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a financial analyst-related occupation.
  • Audit or accounting experience.
  • Conducting data analysis using Advanced Excel, including xlookup, pivot table, and setup formulas (sumif, index, iferror).
  • Experience with financial statements, including profit/loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Data analysis, synthesis, and presenting conclusions to management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure key monthly production metrics are met.
