About The Position

Saab, Inc. is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Finance organization. This position will report directly to the ATM Controller and provide wide-ranging financial support for Surveillance contracts. This position is based at the national headquarters in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Support the development and maintenance of program baselines, including analyzing potential needs for updates. Interface with internal and external program teams to track and provide insights into actual versus forecasted financial performance. Ensure proper recording of program revenue, cash flow, and expenditures, and assist with the generation of Estimates at Completion (EAC). Initiate customer billings, track receivables, and assist with past-due receivable collections as needed. Collaborate across functions to confirm contract projects are executing to budget and delivering on schedule. Support the accuracy of proposal costing and pricing efforts, including cash flow analysis and currency hedging. Advise program team members and senior management on the financial health of programs. Prepare, package, and present external and internal financial reporting. Work with Program Managers to ensure program forecasts are accurately reflected in business P&L and cash flow forecasts for the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Provide input on process improvement efforts. Compensation Range: $ 64,600 - $80,700 The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field) with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an MA/MS degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, formulas, and graphing.
  • Proficient with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other general accounting rules and principles.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
