About The Position

Mission Multiplier is seeking a Financial Analyst to support one of our government customers, onsite - Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC) / A4 Directorate of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection, Scott AFB, Illinois. The Financial Analyst candidate must have a government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: Secret). Candidate will have the opportunity to utilize their financial expertise and analytical skills to support our organization's financial goals and strategies working through Federal Government (Department of Defense) funding processes .

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret)
  • Knowledge of federal financial regulations and directives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create concise, high-quality reports, while also communicating effectively with internal departments and outside resources
  • Experience and knowledge of working with Defense Enterprise Acquisition Management System (DEAMS)
  • Experience and knowledge of working with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) funding process
  • Experience and knowledge of working with Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) funding process
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), including advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to financial policies and procedures: Ensure compliance with all Federal financial policies, procedures, and regulations, recommending updates and improvements as needed
  • Support budget and forecast development with department leaders to develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts for the organization, ensuring financial goals are met
  • Conduct thorough and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement within the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial oversight to gather financial data, provide analysis, and support strategic decision-making
  • Create financial reports utilizing financial data to create comprehensive reports for management and other stakeholders, providing key insights and recommendations for financial strategies
  • Utilize financial data to identify trends and patterns in spending, revenue, and other financial metrics, providing valuable insights and recommendations for future planning
  • Monitor and track financial performance against established budgets and forecasts, identifying any variances and making recommendations for corrective action
  • Maintain financial data integrity through regular audits and reconciliations, identifying and addressing any discrepancies
