Job Summary : The Financial Analyst is a key member of our Credit Administration department. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with strong analytical skills who can effectively provide accurate and in-depth analysis within the framework of established companies and regulatory guidelines. The Financial Analyst will be assisting in various types of finance and accounting for all entities within the Bank. The Financial Analyst primarily assumes responsibility and accountability for maintaining and developing sound processes, controls, preparation and analysis of economic value and net interest margin. Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to: Monthly portfolio variance analysis workbook maintenance on MFAH real estate investments. Acquisition rehab underwriting models for capital transactions. Weekly portfolio performance statistics reports Monthly update for UFB subsidiary deal activity. Prepare weekly MFAH Housing workbook. Attend weekly property meetings to learn about status and updates. Monthly update of draw availability report. Weekly touch base with Chief Credit Officer DSCR and Trend analysis for MFAH portfolio. Monthly update of Exposure/LTV Report Monthly download Birge Held financials and save to UFB shared drive. Quarterly Dashboard reports Other projects as assigned. Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly Advanced Proficiency in Excel – i.e. macros, array functions, xlookup/index match, etc.
  • Possess a high degree of integrity when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with financial terminology.
  • Ability to be a proactive, energetic team player.
  • Ability to maintain thoroughness and accuracy in your work while operating under pressure and within short deadlines.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to further one’s competence with respect to job demands.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred in business, finance, or accounting.
  • One to two years accounting experience in financial institutions is preferred.
  • Experience with real estate or banking a plus.
  • CFA designation progress or willingness to pursue preferred.
