About The Position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing client invoices, vouchers, retirement funding reports, and other reports related to clients.

Requirements

  • Proficient analytical skills for capturing, reviewing, and analyzing data.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet ongoing deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial and compensation information in adherence to company policies.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in corporate accounting, auditing, or financial analytics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in conducting employee benefit plan audits.
  • Prior exposure to the government contracting industry.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and analyze client data files to ensure accurate processing within our systems while maintaining data integrity.
  • Develop client health and welfare funding invoices and verification schedules for review by management.
  • Reconcile client source data with the final invoiced amounts for hours, contributions, and fringe benefit credits.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain changes between accounting periods, subject to managerial review.
  • Create client reports, including those focusing on retirement funding.
  • Communicate complex fringe benefits compliance concepts effectively to clients, vendors, carriers, and colleagues.
  • Handle client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in implementing health and welfare invoicing processes for new clients.
