Group/Division KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Responsibilities Responsible for the financial analysis of monthly actual results with comparisons to the forecast and engaging with business partners to maximize efficiencies and address issues. Drive Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives. Engage with and collaborate cross functionally with Engineering, Operations, Service and division finance for target setting and reporting of results. Collaborate with business partners on Inventory Planning, Headcount Planning, managing of Operational expense drivers. Continuous improvement mindset, partnering with different areas of the organization, identifying gaps, cost savings and productivity. Own the Semi-annual standard cost change process of costing parts, manufacturing overhead and simulations in SAP system. Ensure that finance policies and proper accounting rules are being followed consistently and SOX-compliant in all areas of responsibility. Assist in all other ad hoc requests which require financial modeling, scenario analysis and simulations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting with minimum 2 years of relevant experience (with emphasis on cost accounting, forecasting and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment)
  • Proficient in SAP, strong MS Excel skills, Power BI
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment
  • Comfortable in ambiguous environment, comfortable approaching and communicating with different levels of the organization.
  • Independent and critical thinker, fast learner and excellent eye for detail.
  • Strong interest in leveraging tools, automation, and data solutions to improve financial processes, efficiency, and scalability
  • Bachelors degree plus 2 years' experience or Masters degree and 0 years' experience
