About The Position
Financial Analyst Our Idaho Falls Curtiss Wright location is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Accounting Team! This role is at the center of month-end close, reporting, and forecasting, working closely with operations and business unit leaders to ensure accuracy and provide key financial insights. This is a collaborative and hands on role where you will help drive meaningful data-driven decisions. Requirements
- Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is preferred or an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Accounting ERP related experience is necessary, Infor SyteLine experience is preferable
- Experience in data mining to report, analyze and interpret financial and operating data.
- Experience in performing variance analysis and month end close responsibilities.
- Ability to understand complex mathematical calculations
- Strong background in Microsoft Office suites such as Excel, Word.
- Great attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Database query experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Project estimates-to-complete review and entry into accounting system
- Month-end reconciliation of reporting across three systems
- Costs reports processing & reviews for accuracy, discrepancies, trends analysis
- Financial reporting support as required
- Project maintenance and revenue review
- General ledger maintenance and review
- Ad-hoc requests as they relate to revenue, job cost and billing.
