About The Position

Job Summary: The Financial Analyst is a pivotal role in our finance department, optimizing financial processes and systems to drive business performance. This position is responsible for examining financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights that guide strategic decisions. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop financial models, and implement solutions that improve financial efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and expense management.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability to drive projects and initiatives within cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Agility and flexibility to manage changing priorities and the capability to work under tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software systems like Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros

Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and develop solutions to enhance business operations and reporting accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial systems and controls, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Reporting and Data Visualization: Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting trends, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs and translate business requirements into system requirements.
  • Act as the liaison between finance, operations, and technology departments to enhance systems and interfaces.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects that enhance the capability of the finance function, managing timelines, scope, and project risks.
