We form value through combined effort with our customers and stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join McCLARIN Composites. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Controller by ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of daily, monthly, and annual financial and operational data. This position will provide critical financial analysis and insights to both manufacturing operations and the senior leadership team to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, plant finance, or cost accounting
  • Experience with Crystal Reporting
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Power Point, Access and Word
  • Familiar with a variety of analysis concepts, practices and procedures
  • In depth knowledge of capital expenditure tracking
  • Experience preparing financial reports, cost analysis and performance metrics
  • Experience with manufacturing KPIs
  • Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision
  • Creativity and latitude (independent judgment) is required
  • Ability to work with others and work independently
  • Possesses critical thinking/listening skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Proven ability to analyze trends, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
  • Detail oriented

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monthly closing cycles to properly reflect the financial position of the company
  • Prepare and analyze monthly manufacturing performance reports, including labor, material, and overhead variances, and provide corrective action recommendations
  • Perform detailed manufacturing cost accounting, including standard cost versus actual analysis and inventory valuation
  • Analyze inventory balances, reserves, scrap, and usage; partner with Leadership to resolve variances
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with executive-level commentary and variance explanations
  • Develop and maintain KPIs tied to production, efficiency, and cost performance
  • Support ongoing rolling forecasts driven by volume, labor, and material assumptions
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Partner closely with plant leadership to drive financial accountability and performance improvement
