Job Description Position Summary The Financial Analyst provides financial analysis and reporting support across multiple portfolios. The role involves budgeting and forecasting support, cash flow analysis, investment performance evaluation, valuation support, and preparation of materials for internal and investor reporting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- 0-3 years of applicable and relevant experience.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong self-motivation, accountability, and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
- Apply knowledge of financial statements and their interrelationships to support analysis and decision-making.
- Maintain a foundational understanding of public company reporting and the connection between operational activity and financial performance
Responsibilities
- Support financial planning and analysis activities, including preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts to inform business decisions.
- Analyze financial and operational performance against targets, identifying key trends, risks, and variances.
- Collaborate with Accounting and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information that supports valuation, reporting, and decision-making activities.
- Gather and analyze financial and operational data to develop reports, presentations, and insights that support decision-making.
- Develop recurring performance analyses for management, highlighting key trends, insights, and business drivers.
- Analyze complex financial datasets to support problem-solving, strategic planning, and business decisions.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to advance business objectives and strengthen alignment across initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
