Job Purpose The Financial Analyst will join the Finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic and investment decisions across all aspects of the business. This position offers broad exposure to financial modelling, capital markets, project development and M&A within a growing renewable energy company. As an integral member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of experience with financial modeling or DCF analysis in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics or engineering preferred
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain financial models in connection with new capital investments, M&A, project development, and related third party corporate and project financings
  • Analyze strategic and financial opportunities and present recommendations to senior management and shareholders
  • Interface with current capital partners, commercial and investment banks, and prospective new investors to drive key business decisions, market and structure deals, facilitate due diligence, and assist in closing documentation and asset management
  • Engage Longroad’s development team, engineering, legal, tax and accounting to identify project challenges and risks and formulate strategies and solutions
  • Perform analysis and research for the support of negotiations and transaction execution for project financings, sales and acquisitions
  • Research tax equity financing opportunities to monetize the projects’ tax attributes
  • Maintain tax equity partnership tracking models
