About The Position

Key Responsibilities Analyze multifamily property financials, including operating statements, rent rolls, trailing twelve-month reports, and budgets Develop and review detailed budgeting models and pro forma financial statements Evaluate market trends using surveys, market studies, and third-party data to support assumptions and forecasts Assess revenue and expense assumptions, capital expenditures, and risk factors Identify variances, trends, and opportunities to optimize asset performance Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of budgeting or financial analysis experience within multifamily real estate Strong understanding of multifamily operating metrics and financial statements Ability to read and interpret market survey data Proven ability to analyze market data, surveys, and trends and incorporate them into budgeting models Experience building and reviewing pro formas with sound assumptions Onsite property management experience preferred but not required Advanced Excel skills High attention to detail with the ability to think critically and strategically Preferred Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook as well as property management specific operating systems (Real Page Accounting Suite) Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Collaborative mindset with a practical, operations-informed approach to budgeting Local to Austin, TX, as this is not a remote role CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORD If an offer of employment is made and accepted, continued employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory results of a thorough Criminal History Record Check(s). Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of budgeting or financial analysis experience within multifamily real estate
  • Strong understanding of multifamily operating metrics and financial statements
  • Ability to read and interpret market survey data
  • Proven ability to analyze market data, surveys, and trends and incorporate them into budgeting models
  • Experience building and reviewing pro formas with sound assumptions
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think critically and strategically

Nice To Haves

  • Onsite property management experience preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
