About The Position

Reporting to the Financial Systems Analyst Principal, the Senior Financial Analyst – Cash Flow & Consolidation plays a critical role in managing the company’s cash flow forecasting, month-end and year-end financial reporting, and consolidated financial analysis. This role partners closely with Accounting, Treasury, AP, AR, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights. As Dayforce transitions from a public company to private equity ownership, this role will be instrumental in strengthening financial rigor, improving processes, and evolving reporting to support a new operating model. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-changing environment, takes ownership end-to-end, and brings a strong blend of technical accounting knowledge, financial modeling, and business partnership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT or Business.
  • 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting or Financial Reporting, with strong exposure to cash flow and Systems.
  • Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow mechanics and interdependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain financial results to both finance and non-finance partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong interest and some experience with financial systems, ideally OneStream or Adaptive

  • Continuously improve cash forecasting accuracy, methodology, and transparency.
  • Support and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Consolidate and review management reporting, including Flash, monthly and quarterly CFO packs, SRP, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Ensure alignment between FP&A reporting and Accounting results, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Develop clear narratives around results, trends, and variances — not just the numbers.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to Accounting, Treasury, AP, AR, and other FP&A teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align assumptions, timelines, and outputs across financial processes.
  • Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and special projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes, including automation and simplification opportunities.
