Financial Analyst (Experienced or Senior) Company: Spectrolab, Inc. The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Financial Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join our Spectrolab Finance team at our Sylmar, CA location in the Greater Los Angeles area. Spectrolab is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing. A successful candidate will be a team-oriented finance professional with broad business acumen and strong financial analysis and communication skills. Position Responsibilities: Prepare analysis of financial data and create reports to aid decision-making and budget monitoring (e.g., indirect expense, programs, capital, new business funds, company funds requests) Make recommendations to management on financial performance and projections using financial knowledge and experience Partner with Program Managers and other leaders to manage cost and schedule baseline, and support key processes such as the Estimate to Complete, risk and opportunity identification, variance analysis reports and recovery plans Create cost estimates, payment plans, and termination liability schedules to support proposal activities Perform ad hoc reporting and business case analysis Support Accounting close activities and assist with Accounts Payable Assess business opportunities and risks, assist with presentations for senior management, and maintain compliance with internal controls and policies Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities effectively Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 3+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Estimating, Financial Planning, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations) 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel; Experience with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other advanced Excel functions 3+ years of experience with Financial Analysis Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Estimate at Completion (EAC) preparation Experience utilizing excellent communication and presentation skills Experience working across a multi-functional team Experience with Systems Applications and Processing (SAP) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
