Asure’s HCM offering includes Payroll & Tax, HR, and Time & Attendance software and HR Services ranging from online compliance tools to a fully outsourced HR department. This is an on-site position located at our Austin, TX office. Our Financial Analyst will work with the FP&A team and will partner with business leaders to assist in managing the annual budget process as well as monthly forecast updates, analysis of business trends and managing key performance indicators. The role will assist in preparing management reports outlining revenue and expense performance and identifying the cause of variances. The role will also contribute to bespoke projects and analysis as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, CIS, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of financial analysis internship and/or work experience.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and data mining and analysis skills, strong PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of database systems such as SQL, etc. is an asset.
  • Diligent, highest standards of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to meeting critical deadlines.
  • Team player and effective communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a business partnering mindset.
  • Positive, proactive, can-do attitude and ability to achieve results in a collegial, team-oriented approach.
  • Curious, with the ability to think critically, question the output of a financial model, and consider options for improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders on a regular basis to understand their needs and changes in the business.
  • Provide financial insights to key business leaders and assist with short and long-term planning.
  • Provide management reporting to the business with relevant variance analysis, adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments.
  • Analyze Actual variances to Budget/Forecast and review with the management team.
  • Support and maintain the key metrics used in presentations for the Board of Directors, earnings calls, investors, auditors, etc.
  • Develop and monitor key financial metrics and business drivers.
  • Support processes to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial planning consolidations.
  • Ensure reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for business support.
