About The Position

Support financial operations within our physician group. Assists with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. Develops and maintains dashboards. Typical Physical Demands Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods of time. Some bending and stooping required. Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds of boxes or paper. Requires manual dexterity to operate keyboard, calculator, copy machine and other office equipment. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read numbers, policies, and computer terminals. Requires hearing within normal range for telephone use. Typical Working Conditions Work is performed in an office environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of financial analysis experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a track record of developing automation tools and dashboards.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA).
  • Experience with healthcare financial systems such as EPIC, Athenahealth, or NextGen.
  • Understanding of physician compensation models, RVU-based productivity, and payer reimbursement structures.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for physician practices.
  • Support month-end close processes, including report generation, variance analysis, and financial performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement SQL and Python scripts to automate recurring financial processes and reporting workflows.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into physician productivity, revenue cycle metrics, and operational KPIs.
  • Partner with practice administrators, clinical leadership, and other cross functional teams to analyze financial trends and support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate new service lines, provider onboarding, and operational initiatives.
