About The Position

In your role as Financial Analyst, you will assist with the day-to-day financial management of our branches and be an integral part of the business supporting both team members in Field Operations and Finance/Accounting. Your team will be instrumental in partnering with the business to drive operational success through reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis while being a key team member in new product introductions and system implementations. The ability to liaison directly with corporate functions will expose you and your team to all parts of the organization.

Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or Business Administration
• Intermediate Excel required
• Experience with data mining from financial software platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical, detail oriented
• Responsive and easily adapts to change.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to support requests from both local and remote team members.

Nice To Haves

• An accounting designation (CPA or CMA) would be an additional asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and contribute to the development, production, and analysis of daily management reporting, including (but not limited to) revenue, key statistics, cost, and expense tracking – spanning business units and products.
• Assist the GM and Management team in achieving revenue, margin, and operating expense budgets by delivering financial insight.
• Contribute to the success of the accounting team by providing analysis, assisting with accruals and information flow to ensure the integrity of financial statements.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process, working with key stakeholders at the branch and corporate level.
• Involvement in cross functional teams developing and introducing new products.
• Assist with integration and implementation of corporate systems and processes
• Other duties as assigned
