Organization: VICC- Clinical Trials 30 Job Summary: The Financial analyst develops, analyzes, and conducts financial analyses to assess the viability of financial plans and programs, under occasional guidance. Develops financial statements, compensation analyses, financial packages, and presentations for various projects. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for budgeting and negotiating multiple clinical trials at any given time. This role requires full onsite presence during training and onboarding, with a hybrid work arrangement available once fully integrated into the position. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST . Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, data manipulation, and formatting.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage and reconcile large datasets (500+ cells) across multiple platforms.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage correspondence, participate in calls, and provide clear progress updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with a high level of autonomy.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or regulated industry; a willingness to learn and adapt in a complex environment is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using OnCore or similar systems
  • Exposure to negotiation processes is a plus, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops projections to model the financial impact of programs and projects.
  • Designs, develops, and modifies financial forecasting models and simulations for programs.
  • Accumulates and analyzes data from existing or established databases.
  • Analyzes, accumulates, and reviews data for financial reports.
  • Conducts technical research and prepares synopses on relevant topics.
  • Assembles data and compiles drafts, outlines and graphic materials for financial presentations.
  • Coordinates efforts of work group.
  • Analyzes the effects of proposed federal and state statutes and regulatory actions which may impact long range financial planning.
  • Analyzes future trends and indicators in related areas of interest.
  • Reviews data to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
