Youll have the opportunity to work with a team whose key goal is to ensure CIGs future success and profitability in order to continue to provide a high-level service to our clients Job Overview The Financial Analyst has a responsibility in supporting the FP&A Manager in meeting departmental goals and objectives and assisting with the development of workflows, policies, procedures, and internal controls within assigned area. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining a complex financial model to analyze and evaluate financial and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, capital allocation, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation techniques, including NPV, IRR, and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
  • Strong understanding of capital allocation, corporate finance, and investment appraisal methodologies.
  • Ability to assess risk-adjusted returns and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA, macros, and complex formulas), PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with financial planning software, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
  • Understanding of key financial statements, cost of capital, and capital budgeting processes.
  • Ability to align financial strategy with corporate objectives and identify value creation opportunities.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and senior leadership to drive capital allocation decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate investments and improve financial performance.
  • Ability to identify financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and optimize resource allocation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in P&C insurance, financial services, or strategic finance roles is a plus.
