This role is for a Financial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in and passionate about taking on new challenges. The Financial Analyst will report into the Head of Financial Accounting and will handle the monthly financial accounting for one or more Liquidnet entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting and/or auditing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a Big 4 firm
  • CPA a plus but not required
  • Confident communicator with strong written and spoken language
  • Self-starter, capable of driving a process from start to finish
  • Understanding of accounting systems, preferably with Workday Financials

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly financial accounting for assigned TPICAP entities, driving an accurate and timely close
  • Prepare various reconciliations and schedules during the monthly close process, including bank reconciliations, revenue reconciliations, prepaid and accrual schedules, and other documentation required to support our monthly financial results
  • Coordinate with local and international counterparts to ensure proper accounting for intercompany activities
  • Assist with financial and/or regulatory audits of assigned entities and respond to audit requests as necessary, with oversight from the Finance team
  • Aid in Finance’s continued role as a key business partner by liaising with stakeholders across the company; understanding and addressing departmental needs.
  • Assist with special projects as needed
