About The Position

The Financial Analyst must be detail-oriented and strategically minded. The Financial Analyst responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and identifying trends in data, as well as providing financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes.

Requirements

  • Must have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (preferred)
  • Healthcare experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Examines historical and projected financial data to provide valuable data upon which to make relevant financial decisions.
  • Performs a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Developing standard and ad hoc reports
  • Assisting in imports or exports of data
  • Performing periodic audits of data sources
  • Maintain a current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations.
  • Assists other teams and participates in assigned projects as a financial support resource.
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting clients with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.
  • Ensures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and other regulations.
