About The Position

The Finance & Risk Management department is seeking a strategic and motivated Financial Analyst. As a Financial Analyst you’ll bring your leadership, problem-solving, and mission-focused mindset to a role where precision and strategy matter. As part of our Finance and Risk Management team, you’ll support operational goals through financial analysis, budget monitoring, and strategic planning. Your ability to adapt, collaborate across departments, and maintain integrity will be key to success.   • A minimum of three (3) years of active duty or mobilized reserve duty service.
  • Documentation of an honorable discharge (DD214) from active or reserve status within the last year must be submitted with your application.
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint-based background investigation, training, and testing is required for employment.

Responsibilities

  • Budget Development & Monitoring - Collaborate with department teams to develop budgets and forecasts aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor departmental expenditures and analyze variances between actual spend and budgeted amounts, providing timely insights and recommendations.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting - Provide accurate financial data and analysis to internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Undertake ad-hoc financial projects, including reporting, data analysis, and process improvements based on departmental needs.
  • Strategic Planning & Documentation - Contribute to the preparation and compilation of the comprehensive Budget Book by gathering financial data and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in developing strategic financial plans that support long-term organizational objectives and other duties as assigned.
