About The Position

The Financial Analyst supports business and operational functions by producing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analysis for strategic decision-making. The Financial Analyst will also play a key role in the refinement and evolution of models and reports that support the forecasting and budgeting processes. This position reports to the Director of FP&A.

Requirements

  • Proficient in financial modeling, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools; familiarity with database management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing department needs.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on understanding the "why" behind financial numbers.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to incorporate stakeholder information.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding and experience with reporting/financial tools and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, , or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analytics or analysis development.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business performance drivers.
  • Experience managing projects in a team environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Proficient in Powerpoint, database management, and accounting software

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare or pharmacy companies preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly financial reporting processes through variance analysis (for actuals vs forecast, budget, and prior periods), trends, and KPI analysis.
  • Assist in building and maintaining budget models for multiple entities, including consolidated and individual financial budgets.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for business units and projects to support organizational decision-making.
  • Develop reports in accounting software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for financial analysis, identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide analytical support to initiatives and ensure information is prepared to support business and operational projects.
  • Help develop tracking mechanisms to monitor results and support corrective action.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion or improvement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
