About The Position

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team in St. Louis, MO! This opportunity is for someone who wants to do more than routine reporting. This individual will play a visible, influential part in shaping business decisions by delivering high-impact financial insights, pricing strategies, and analytical tools used by senior leadership and cross-functional teams. In this blended role, you will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly impact profitability, growth, and market positioning across multiple divisions. What began in Nick Tacony’s basement as a post-war, start-up company over 75 years ago has since grown into an internationally recognized global products company with multiple offices, 300+ employees, and, successful sales in over 100 countries. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in public accounting, manufacturing/distribution, or multi-location environments and 1 year of pricing analysis experience
  • Advanced skills with reporting, analysis, problem-solving while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools; Epicor and MS Power BI experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and policy compliance across divisions and locations
  • Develop insightful reports and dashboards that drive decision-making with the ERP system and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of standard monthly financial reporting packages used by executive leadership
  • Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles
  • Provide analytical support and data research to divisions and locations to resolve issues and support operational needs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within Finance and across the broader organization
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Conduct market and pricing analysis to develop competitive, data-driven pricing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Design, maintain, and enhance pricing models that evaluate cost structures, demand elasticity, market conditions, and profitability
  • Monitor competitor pricing trends and assess the financial impact of pricing decisions
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to ensure pricing strategies align with sales goals and market positioning
