Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance recurring financial reporting: Update and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support leadership visibility into cash collections, accounts receivable activity, fuel, claims, and operational performance.
Prepare insightful analyses: Build and refine ad-hoc reports to track trends, explain variances, and highlight opportunities for improvement across the business.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity: Audit, reconcile, and validate financial data across multiple systems; research discrepancies and drive timely resolution.
Support the month-end close process: Prepare journal entries, assist with trial balances, update sub-ledgers, and help compile monthly revenue and AR schedules.
Perform account reconciliations: Monitor balances, review outstanding items, and document support to ensure accurate financial statements.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to answer questions, streamline reporting, and improve processes.
Continuously improve reporting tools and workflows: Help automate recurring tasks, create comparison files, and recommend improvements that save time and increase accuracy.
