Primary Function/General Purpose of Position The Financial Analyst must be detail-oriented and strategically minded. The Financial Analyst responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and identifying trends in data, as well as providing financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes. Team Message We are looking for a dynamic analyst to join our growing finance and operations team. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, eager to learn, and ready to use their problem-solving skills to make an impact in the lives of patients that we serve. This position will support the financial and operational functions of the system’s Medical Group, Urgent Care, and Occupational Health teams in several ways. This includes producing system analytics and reporting related to financial and operational performance and developing and managing an array of analytical tools to enhance operational performance across our broad footprint. Work side by side with our leaders, using data to tell the story and help improve the lives of our patients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)

Responsibilities

  • Examines historical and projected financial data to provide valuable data upon which to make relevant financial decisions.
  • Performs a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Developing standard and ad hoc reports
  • Assisting in imports or exports of data
  • Performing periodic audits of data sources
  • Maintain a current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations.
  • Assists other teams and participates in assigned projects as a financial support resource.
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting clients with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.
  • Ensures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and other regulations.
