This role will communicate and work directly with senior leadership on a daily basis. This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Finance focused internship(s) OR 1+ years of progressive professional experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Demonstrated executive presence with solid communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders (ability to translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences)
  • Reside a commutable distance to Albuquerque, NM
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, CPA license or MBA Degree
  • Experience in cost and purchase accounting
  • Hyperion Essbase, database, and PeopleSoft experience
  • Leadership experience with the ability to develop others and create a positive team-based work environment
  • Experience working in healthcare
  • Experience working directly with providers/physicians

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly and quarterly calculations of provider productivity and quality initiatives that adjust their compensation
  • Develop reporting results and present to Sr. Management and operations leadership
  • Presenting and educating physicians on compensation plans and incentives
  • Manage the reporting and analysis of SG&A month end close
  • Research and understand business operations to identify cost cutting initiatives
  • Lead, track, and follow up with Sr. leaders on SG&A efficiency initiatives
  • Oversee the improvement of SG&A management reporting on a detailed and segmented basis to ensure cost tracking and containment with Sr. leaders
  • Partner with operational Sr. leaders to assist in setting statistical metrics to enhance awareness of operational performance and decisions around FTE management
  • Partners with Sr. and departmental leaders to oversee the budget creation and periodic forecasting
  • Develops cost/benefit analyses and staffing needs for key strategies or initiatives
  • Participates and develops company-wide business plan and strategies
  • Perform detailed financial and qualitative analysis on potential acquisitions of provider groups and network deals
  • Perform valuation analyses, including multi-year discounted cash flow calculations, and analyses of tax return information
  • Participate and oversee month end capital closing process
  • Assist in capital project cost development and ongoing cost tracking
  • Maintain master files of capital projects, track capital funding status, and assist in enhancement of management reporting
  • Creation and management of ad hoc requests and reporting from Sr. Management
